The OMNIUM COMPETITION returns in 2025 and given its MASSIVE success last year,…this event isn’t going anywhere!!! This is an overall competition across the following disciplines - Downhill, Short Track, and Cross-Country. We will crown our OMNIUM KING and QUEEN in each age category: 8-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, and 17-18 with a custom CUORE winners jersey. Riders will compete in their respective age-group based on their official racing age determined on December 31, 2025.

What is the OMNIUM COMPETITION?? The OMNIUM event format for Junior Bike Week will be 3 events across 3 days of competition. In each event the winner gets one point, the second place rider gets two points, the third three points, and so on. At the end of all three events the rider with the lowest TOTAL SCORE is the winner. Historically, the Cross-Country discipline has been heavily weighted in the overall Triple Crown Championships standings so we’re super pumped for this new format as it will work much better with the new Short Track event. To break any/all ties in scoring, we will use the Junior Wildflower Classic finish time for the tie break.

We are excited to share that both the 2025 Junior Bike Week Downhill and Short Track events will be held at Crested Butte Mountain Resort! We STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you request to join the Junior Bike Week Team App to access all race details, as well as other event information, as this website will not be updated during the festival.

The OMNIUM COMPETITION prizing is provided by CUORE and Orange Seal.

To break any/all ties in scoring, we will use the Junior Wildflower Classic finish time for the tie break.

2025 JUNIOR BIKE WEEK EVENT LOCATIONS - All Junior Bike Week events, with the exception of the Junior Wildflower Classic Cross-Country Race will take place at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. The Junior Wildflower Classic race start + awards will be held at the Rainbow Park Pavilion, located at 300 Eighth Street in the Town of Crested Butte.

There is a free town shuttle, operated by Mountain Express, that runs every 20-minutes between the towns of Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte. Their summer schedule can be found HERE. Both van and tent camping will be conveniently located in the Crested Butte Mountain Resort parking lot. We will have a CAMP HOST, a large event tent for gathering, a dumpster, several recycling totes, porta-potties, and access to nearby plumbed bathrooms in the adjacent lot.
